In this position, you are supposed toGuide complex projects from ideation and planning, to model design, todeployment and testing, and independently make decisions about the technicalapproachPartner with the Product Management team to drive requirements for newproducts and integrate data during product developmentDiscover areas of the customer experience and business that can be impacted byusing Big Data, AI and Machine LearningExtract and analyze data from various sources to model customers’ behaviorCollaborate with the Product team to create insightful metrics and dashboards tomonitor the product’s performance and make informative reportsDescribe and speak in an approachable way about complex analyses andconcepts within a cross-functional teamRequirementsMS/BS in Computer Science, Statistics or other related fieldsMore than two years of experience as a data scientist (preferably in e-commerce)Proficiency in Python and it’s data analysis and visualization toolsIntermediate knowledge of Software Development TechniquesStrong knowledge of various Data Science disciplines including descriptiveanalytics, optimization, hypothesis testing, neural networks, statistic models, andmachine learningDeep knowledge of relational databases, big data technologies, and NoSQLdatabasesGreat ability to identify and translate business and customer needs into datascience projectsExcellent communication and collaboration skills – experience in writing andpresenting comprehensive narratives on opportunity, objectives, goals, anddelivery plan to customers and stakeholdersAbility to deliver data science projects from start to ends, such as ideageneration, project definition, implementation, testing, and deploymentPlusExperience in hiring and mentorship processes for data scientist candidatesExperience in leading data science teams
