Senior PR specialist

At Okala, we are changing the game in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, creating a new online grocery shopping experience for Iranians. Our Campaign team collaborates to make it happen. We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a crucial part of our team as a Senior Public Relations specialist.

Responsibilities:

·       Develop and execute comprehensive public relations strategies to enhance brand visibility, generate positive media coverage, and drive engagement with key stakeholders.

·       Cultivate and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, bloggers, influencers, and other media contacts to secure media placements and coverage across various platforms.

·       Write and distribute press releases, media advisories, and other communications materials to announce company news, product launches, and other key initiatives.

·       Serve as the company spokesperson and media liaison, responding to media inquiries, interview requests, and managing media relations during crisis situations.

·       Monitor media coverage and industry trends, track and analyze PR metrics, and prepare regular reports to measure the effectiveness of PR campaigns and initiatives.

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, social media, and senior leadership, to align PR efforts with overall business goals and objectives.

·       Plan and coordinate media events, press conferences, interviews, and other PR activities to maximize media exposure and coverage.

·       Stay informed about industry regulations, best practices, and emerging trends in public relations, and integrate new strategies and tactics into PR campaigns as needed.

Requirements:

·       Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field.

·       Minimum 5 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or related field.

·       Proven track record of securing media coverage, building relationships with media contacts, and managing PR campaigns.

·       Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and messages for various audiences.

·       Strong media relations skills, with the ability to pitch stories, manage media inquiries, and coordinate interviews and media opportunities.

·       Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

·       Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

·       Demonstrated ability to think strategically, solve problems, and drive results.
