The Senior Foreign Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing the complete foreign trade lifecycle, from supplier communication and commercial negotiations to order execution, shipment follow-up, customs clearance coordination, and final delivery. This role requires a strong understanding of international procurement regulations, documentation, logistics,
and supplier management, combined with high accuracy, accountability, and problem-solving capability
Key Responsibilities:
1.Manage and oversee the full foreign procurement and import cycle, including inquiries, quotation evaluation, commercial negotiations, purchase order issuance, shipment follow-up, customs coordination, and final delivery.
2.Communicate professionally and continuously with international suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and agents to ensure on-time and compliant execution of orders.
3.Conduct and support commercial negotiations with foreign suppliers to achieve optimal pricing, payment terms, delivery conditions, and Incoterms.
4.Prepare, review, and control all international trade documentation, including Proforma Invoice, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, Bill of Lading, insurance documents, and related records.
5.Ensure accurate and timely order registration and customs processes through the NTSW in compliance with local regulations.
6.Coordinate closely with sales, logestics, finance, customs, and planning teams to ensure alignment of shipment schedules, payment terms, and clearance requirements.
7.Monitor shipment progress across sea, air, and land freight, proactively identifying risks, delays, or discrepancies and taking corrective actions when required.
8.Identify, analyze, and resolve operational and documentation issues related to imports, customs clearance, or supplier performance.
9.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Rahkaran systems, ensuring data integrity and traceability of orders and shipments.
10.Prepare regular management reports covering order status, shipment progress, supplier performance.
