You will manage the reservations and sales team, by providing operational, supervisory support and specialized business expertise daily using relevant motivational, training, management and communication techniques to achieve the department’s customer service and revenue targets, ensuring efficient handling of bookings, customer service, and sales strategies. Responsibilities and Duties:
• Team Management: Supervise and manage the performance of reservations and sales agents.
• Customer Service: Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained, handling escalated issues and complaints professionally. Make Travel related reservations and issue tickets to clients, taking care that all relevant airline rules and regulations have been complied with, and that the product delivered is in line with client requirements and expectations
• Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue and meet sales targets.
• Training and Development: Train and mentor new and existing staff members on airline policies, procedures, and sales techniques.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to airline policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
• Operational Efficiency: Monitor and analyze sales data, manage inventory, and optimize booking processes.
• Communication: Facilitate communication between staff, management, airport, and other departments.
• System Management: Assist with the maintenance and updates of ticketing systems.
• Reporting: Generate and analyze sales reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement. Control, maintain records and provide reports of all revenue accountable documents, Ensuring all utilized documents are correctly reported in the back office system at the end of the day.
• Problem Solving: Resolve complex customer issues and handle escalated complaints effectively.
Qualifications:
• Experience in a similar role, preferably in an airline or travel industry.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and good command of English.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Proficiency in Amadeus, airline reservation systems and booking platforms.
• Knowledge of airline policies, procedures, and industry trends.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
