The Senior Logistics Specialist at Snapp! Shop manages daily last-mile delivery operations, ensuring timely and efficient fulfillment. The role oversees 3PL partners, monitors performance against SLAs and KPIs, handles exception orders, coordinates with internal teams and drivers, and drives process improvements and route optimization while managing transportation costs to maintain high service quality.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with 3PL providers.
- Negotiate and manage logistics and distribution contracts.
- Monitor daily and periodic 3PL performance against agreed SLAs & KPIs.
- Review and approve monthly 3PL invoices.
- Follow up on exception orders requiring alignment or correction.
- Track and analyze key logistics metrics, including delivery time, success rate, return rate, customer satisfaction, and cost per shipment.
- Generate and present monthly M&D performance reports to support continuous improvement.
- Deliver actionable analytics and management dashboards for strategic decision-making.
- Design and implement solutions to optimize delivery routes and fulfillment workflows.Lead logistics improvement projects (e.g., capacity expansion, time-slot design, on-time delivery improvement).
- Oversee the full logistics cycle from dispatch to last-mile delivery.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with internal teams (warehouse, operations, finance) and external partners (3PLs, drivers).
- Handle customer complaints related to delivery and ensure timely resolution.
- Control transportation costs and continuously seek optimization opportunities.
- Develop cost-reduction strategies without compromising service levels.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of Last-Mile Delivery and urban logistics processes.
- Hands-on experience with logistics KPIs (OTD, Failed Rate, Cost per Order).
- Skilled in contract negotiation and 3PL vendor management.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to monitor and interpret operational metrics.
- Problem-solving and crisis management skills in high-pressure scenarios.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, or similar).
- Working knowledge of logistics-related accounting and financial structures.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Business, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Familiarity with OMS/WMS systems and operational tracking tools.
- Professional English proficiency (strong plus).
