What You'll Be Doing:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines to process and transform large datasets.
- Write efficient and maintainable Python code to manipulate and analyze data.
- Develop SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) purposes.
- Work with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration, ensuring smooth execution of data pipelines.
- Containerize applications using Docker for easy deployment and scalability.
- Monitor and optimize data processing workflows to ensure high performance.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other teams to meet business requirements.
What We're Looking For:
- +2 years of professional experience in data engineering or backend development.
- Python: Strong proficiency with data libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and SQLAlchemy for ETL workflows; solid understanding of code architecture and expert-level skills in object-oriented programming and writing clean, PEP 8-compliant code.
- SQL: Deep experience writing performant queries, indexing strategies, and schema design.
- Apache Airflow: Hands-on with DAG authoring, operators, and deployment.
- Docker: Comfortable writing Docker files and managing container life-cycles.
- Linux: Solid command-line proficiency, shell scripting, and system troubleshooting.
- Git: Version control expertise, branching workflows, and code reviews.
- Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Good communication skills
- Ability to read English documents
Nice to Haves:
- Financial Market Data: Familiarity with market data feeds, order-book structures.
- Streaming Frameworks: Experience with Kafka, Spark Structured Streaming.
- Monitoring & Logging: Tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK stack.
