Responsibilities:
As a Business Developer, you will play a crucial role in introducing our fintech solution to the market and driving business growth. Your responsibilities will include:
- Market Penetration: Identify potential clients in the Money Service Business sector, including money remittance companies, payment processors, currency exchange firms, and other financial institutions.
- Lead Generation: Strategically build and maintain a strong pipeline of leads through networking, cold-calling, online research, and attending industry events.
- Client Relationship Management: Nurture relationships with prospective and existing clients, understanding their pain points, and showcasing the unique value of our product.
- Demo Meetings: Arrange and conduct product demo meetings with decision-makers to showcase the benefits and features of our web application.
- Negotiation and Closing: Collaborate with the executive team to negotiate terms, contracts, and pricing with potential clients and secure new business deals.
- Investor Relations: Collaborate with the executive team to identify and engage potential investors, presenting the startup's growth potential and securing funding for expansion.
- Marketing Strategy: Contribute to the development of marketing strategies and campaigns to promote our fintech solution and increase brand awareness.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and anticipate potential challenges.
Requirements:
- Proven track record as an Account Manager or Business Developer or in a similar role, preferably in the fintech or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of the Money Service Business sector, its challenges, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Knowledge of financial technology (fintech) solutions is a plus.
- Proficiency in English is essential.
