Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Advertising Revenue Manager to drive the growth and optimization of advertising revenue within our e-commerce platform. This role requires a strategic thinker with a solid understanding of digital advertising, e-commerce, and data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing advertising strategies that enhance the user experience while maximizing revenue generation.
Key Responsibilities:
Advertising Strategy Development: Develop and implement innovative advertising strategies to maximize revenue from display ads, sponsored content, and other monetization channels on the platform.
Revenue Growth & Optimization: Identify and implement opportunities to increase ad revenue through optimization of ad placements, targeting strategies, and ad product offerings.
Collaboration with Sales & Marketing: Work closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams to create and execute cross-functional campaigns that align with business objectives and customer needs.
Campaign Management: Oversee the execution and performance of advertising campaigns, ensuring they meet or exceed revenue goals and KPIs.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize data analytics to track ad performance, measure key metrics (e.g., CPM, CPC, ROI), and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate performance results and revenue forecasts to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
Vendor & Partner Relations: Manage relationships with third-party ad networks, agencies, and other partners to expand monetization opportunities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising, or related field.
3+ years of experience in advertising revenue management, digital marketing, or e-commerce.
Strong understanding of digital advertising formats, including display, video, native, and performance-based ads.
Proficiency in ad tech platforms (e.g., Google Ads, DSPs, programmatic buying) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau).
Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision making.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred:
Experience working within e-commerce or a commerce-driven platform.
Familiarity with A/B testing and optimization techniques.
Knowledge of the latest advertising trends and technologies.
