About the role:
Your role is to enable product development with data. This means enabling the discovery of product needs through data and data-driven decision-making in the product development process. You will accomplish this through interaction with product teams, understanding product needs, translating product needs into data requirements, and finally, extracting and analyzing product data for decision-making.
Responsibilities:
As a Junior Product Analyst, you will support product teams in their problems by analyzing user behavior and consumption data and providing relevant data-driven insights. You will develop and maintain product dashboards. You will also clarify product data requirements based on analyses and requests from product teams.
Your responsibilities include:
- Defining data requirements to address product needs
- Interacting with stakeholders involved in product development (especially the Product Manager) to understand the product team's problem and the required data analyses for decision-making.
- Extracting, analyzing, and delivering the data required by product teams.
- Developing and maintaining product dashboards.
- Conducting ad-hoc analyses to answer specific business questions and support strategic initiatives.
- Analyzing user behavior and consumption to discover problems, patterns, and actionable insights (Suggestion: Analyzing user behavior and consumption patterns to identify pain points, trends, and actionable insights).
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong problem-solving and problem-deconstruction skills.
- High patience and meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience in data analysis and extracting insights from data.
- Familiarity with product analysis frameworks.
- Skill in data-driven hypothesis generation and hypothesis testing.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM).
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Foundational understanding of Statistics (Advanced proficiency is a plus).
- Proficiency in at least one data visualization tool such as Power BI, Tableau, MetaBase, Grafana, etc.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R for data processing and analysis (Proficiency in R is a plus).
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of work experience in this role or similar roles.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Basic Sciences, Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields (Fields such as Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics are a plus).
