Virtualization Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, manage, and develop virtual infrastructure based on VMware
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot HP servers
• Manage, maintain, and optimize EMC and HP storage devices
• Deploy and administer VDI solutions using VMware Horizon
• Configure, manage, and maintain SAN Switches
• Monitor, optimize, and manage data center infrastructure hardware, including servers, storage devices, and backup equipment
• Utilize VROPS and vRealize for performance monitoring and optimization
• Implement and manage backup solutions such as Veeam Backup
• Enhance the technical performance and security of virtual infrastructure
• Collaborate with different teams to troubleshoot issues and improve IT infrastructure
• Document processes related to virtual infrastructure management and maintenance
• Oversee monitoring systems to detect and resolve potential issues
• Basic knowledge of Windows Server and Linux for better integration of virtual infrastructure

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in virtualization and IT infrastructure management
• Strong understanding of virtualization concepts, including hypervisors, virtual switches, virtual disks, snapshots, and clones
• Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, Hyper-V Manager, KVM, VirtualBox, or Docker
• Proficiency in troubleshooting virtualization environments and optimizing performance
• Experience in managing and configuring SAN storage and backup solutions
• Familiarity with Data Domain management and configuration is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
