Job Description
We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Social Media Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you’ll track, analyze, and interpret social media metrics to provide insights that help shape our content strategy and boost engagement. You should be skilled in data analysis, reporting tools, and understanding audience behavior across different platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics across social media channels (Instagram, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Telegram, etc.)
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports and dashboards
- Identify trends, audience behavior patterns, and opportunities for growth
- Measure ROI of social media campaigns
- Provide actionable insights to content and marketing teams
- Work with social media management tools and analytics platforms
- Collaborate with creative and strategy teams to optimize content based on data
- Stay updated on social media trends and algorithm changes
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience as a data analyst, preferably in social media or digital marketing
- Strong skills in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio)
- Ability to analyze and interpret large datasets
- Knowledge of social media analytics tools (e.g. Meta Insights, Twitter Analytics, Telegram Analytics, Hootsuite, etc.)
- Attention to detail and critical thinking
- Good communication skills for presenting insights
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Marketing, or related fields is a plus
- Experience working with AI tools for data analysis is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in social media management
Technical Skills:
Full proficiency in writing user-friendly content (professional and practical headline writing, content structuring, etc.)
Full proficiency in content writing based on SEO principles
Proficiency in writing meta descriptions
Familiarity with writing image alt texts
Ability to prepare, edit, and write reports, news articles, and interviews
Familiarity with translation and editing principles
Familiarity with the digital space and online media
Ability to respond to media inquiries
Comprehensive knowledge of audience analysis and copywriting principles
