About DelGate:
DelGate is a 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) company based in Vancouver, Canada, providing comprehensive logistics and supply chain solutions. We have started 2 new projects in the e-commerce world called ZNOOX ( an online furniture shop including some services ) and Deskify ( an online organic office chairs, desks and office accessories. )
About the Role:
DelGate is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full-Stack E-commerce Website Developer to join our remote team and work on two of our flagship e-commerce platforms: ZNOOX and Deskify.
- ZNOOX is a complex WordPress-based e-commerce platform with advanced backend and frontend requirements that exceed those of standard WordPress themes and plugins.
- Deskify is built on Shopify and requires a deep understanding of Liquid templating, Shopify APIs, and custom integrations.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll lead and execute implementations, tackle complex functional requirements, and deliver optimized, secure, and scalable e-commerce features from frontend to backend.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the full-stack development of ZNOXX (WordPress + Backend and Frontend Coding and Deskify (Shopify) platforms
- Build responsive, accessible, and user-friendly frontends using modern frameworks (React, Vue, or similar)
- Implement backend logic, API integrations, and custom plugins (especially for WordPress)
- Extend and customize Shopify themes and apps using Liquid, JS, and GraphQL
- Integrate third-party tools, CRMs, analytics, and payment gateways
- Ensure high performance, security, and scalability across both platforms
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and QA engineers remotely
- Maintain clean, documented, and testable code across both platforms
Requirements:
- 6+ years of professional full-stack development experience
- Expert in WordPress development (custom themes, plugins, ACF, CPTs, REST API)
- Advanced Shopify development skills (Liquid, Shopify CLI, Polaris, metafields)
- Strong frontend experience: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), React or Vue
- Backend expertise in PHP (especially for WordPress) and Node.js (a plus)
- Solid experience with e-commerce architecture, cart systems, checkout flows, and customer management
- Experience with various CMS platforms and third-party CRM integrations
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile workflows
- Strong knowledge of SEO, page speed optimization, and web accessibility
- Excellent understanding of RESTful APIs, webhooks, and headless CMS solutions
Bonus Skills:
- Familiarity with headless WordPress or Shopify implementations
- Experience with Next.js, Tailwind CSS, or GraphQL
- Background in working with multi-language or multi-store setups
- Ability to audit and refactor legacy codebases
