We're looking for a curious and technically skilled Data Analyst to join our game studio and help us make smarter, data-informed decisions that directly shape gameplay and player experience. In this role, you'll partner with product managers and game designers to analyze player behavior, test new features, optimize in-game prizes and monetization, and contribute to predictive models that drive retention and revenue.
You’ll work with real-time and historical game data (with +7,000,000 users), using tools like Python, SQL, and Metabase, to surface insights and build systems that scale across our games. If you’re passionate about games, analytics, and turning raw data into measurable impact — we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Analyze gameplay, user behavior, and monetization performance using PostgreSQL and ClickHouse.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (DAU, ARPDAU, ARPPU, LTV, retention, sessions, conversion, revenue, etc.).
- Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests in collaboration with product and design teams.
- Work with stakeholders to optimize in-game prize structures, offer systems, and engagement loops.
- Build dashboards and automated reports in Metabase to support daily and weekly decision-making.
- Develop and maintain predictive models (e.g., churn prediction, LTV estimation, fraud detection) using Python.
- Automate workflows and tournament profitability analysis using Airflow and Python scripting.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with game designers, PMs, and engineers to translate insights into product improvements.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably in gaming or a consumer tech environment.
- Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis (pandas, NumPy, matplotlib, etc.).
- Solid SQL skills; experience working with PostgreSQL and/or ClickHouse is a plus.
- Familiarity with game analytics and core metrics like retention, monetization, and user segmentation.
- Experience designing, executing, and analyzing A/B tests.
- Experience with data visualization tools (especially Metabase).
- Hands-on experience with machine learning models or predictive analytics — such as LTV forecasting, churn prediction, or fraud detection — using libraries like scikit-learn or TensorFlow.
- Good communication skills — able to explain complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable working seasonally or cyclically (e.g., in sync with product sprints or game releases).
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Airflow or other workflow orchestration tools.
- Familiarity with Git for managing analytics scripts and documentation.
- Passion for gaming and an understanding of what makes games engaging and successful.
