We’re looking for a Senior Data Scientist/ ML Engineer who loves solving real-world problems with AI, enjoys learning across different domains, and isn’t afraid to step beyond their core expertise to create real value. Expectations & Responsibilities:
As part of our squad, you will:
- Develop AI-powered services and features that impact real users.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define goals, plan, and prioritize work.
- Implement production-grade services when needed, and integrate them with other developers’ work.
- Work in agile sprints, delivering step-by-step outputs and measurable progress.
- Build dashboards for monitoring, analysis, and evaluation of services.
- Analyze user behavior and metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Take full ownership of projects, from prototyping and R&D to production deployment and monitoring.
- Manage multiple threads of work simultaneously with minimal supervision.
- Actively contribute to the squad’s direction and decisions while reporting to the AI Chapter Lead.
- Technical Skills & Competencies:
Hard Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and programming skills (Python, Git, Docker).
- Hands-on experience with machine learning (including neural networks, bias-variance trade-offs, etc.).
- Experience with structured/tabular data and visualization.
- Familiarity with Linux environments and databases.
- Ability to implement production-ready ML services.
Soft Skills:
- Effective communication, decision-making, and project planning.
- Curiosity and eagerness to grow across product, AI, and development domains.
- Ownership mentality / self-leadership.
- Reliability, collaboration, and proactive engagement with the squad.
- Visionary mindset, hands-on, and culture-fit oriented.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years in a similar data science / ML development role.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Engineering or related field.
- Track record of taking ownership of end-to-end projects.
- Experience mentoring others is a plus.
