Commercial Specialist

We’re looking for a Commercial Specialist is responsible for managing supplier contracts, overseeing pricing strategies, controlling and optimizing inventory levels, and analyzing product margins. This role requires strong negotiation skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to analyze commercial data to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Register all orders in the system on the same day, following analysis and approval from the direct manager
• Analyze sales performance of the assigned product category by vendor and prepare daily and weekly reports
• Prepare, follow up, and manage new and existing contracts as well as contract addendums
• Monitor inventory levels on a daily basis and follow up on orders with the supply team
• Obtain pricing approvals from suppliers
• Follow up on invoices with discrepancies in coordination with suppliers and the finance team
• Prepare rebate, listing fee, and related reports and register corresponding invoices
• Prepare and document MOMs (Minutes of Meeting) for supplier meetings
• Conduct market visits, assess market conditions, and provide improvement-oriented reports
• Deliver regular analytical reports to the Commercial Manager
• Work closely with supply, marketing, warehouse, and finance teams
• Provide effective and accurate support for sales campaigns and promotions
• Transfer market feedback to suppliers and communicate supplier feedback internally
• Define and update item lists
• Review pricing and packaging structures
• Support the development or optimization of the product portfolio based on market needs

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2–4 years of relevant experience in the FMCG industry
• Experience in e-commerce and proficiency in SAP are considered strong advantages

 

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong negotiation skills with solid commercial acumen
• High proficiency in Excel and data analysis
• Good understanding of Margin, Rebate, Promotion, and Credit Terms
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and follow through to completion
• High level of accuracy, organization, and accountability
