Software Test Engineer

Jabama is a leading online platform for booking accommodations and travel experiences. As we expand our Product and Technology teams, we are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Software Test Engineer who is passionate about product quality and eager to contribute to a growing company.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Test Plans and Test Cases for new features and product enhancements
• Execute Functional, Regression, Smoke, and Exploratory tests on both web and mobile applications
• Collaborate closely with Product, Backend, Frontend, and Design teams to clarify requirements and ensure full coverage
• Report bugs with clear reproduction steps and follow up until resolution
• Test and debug APIs and third-party integrations using tools like Postman
• Validate booking flows and ensure reliability in scenarios involving external vendors
• Participate in team ceremonies (Planning, Grooming, Retrospectives)
• Contribute to improving QA processes, workflows, and release quality
• Analyze user behavior and identify risks in core product journeys

Requirements:

• +3 years of experience as a Software Test Engineer or QA Engineer
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and SDLC
• Hands-on experience with manual testing for web and mobile applications.
• Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman or similar)
• Familiarity with Simple SQL queries.
• Ability to write clear, organized test cases and bug reports
• Experience working in agile development environments
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Proactive mindset with the ability to identify gaps and suggest improvements
