Data Analyst (Data Scientist)

Role Overview
As a Data Analyst / Data Scientist, you will be at the forefront of transforming raw data into actionable insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams—ranging from software engineers to product managers—to optimize our trading strategies, improve user experience, and drive business decisions. Your expertise in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization will help us deliver critical data solutions to our clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Data Extraction & Transformation
Develop and maintain efficient data pipelines and ETL processes using tools like Airflow.
Work with ClickHouse databases for querying and managing large datasets.
Ensure data integrity, quality, and consistency across various data sources.

Data Analysis & Modeling
Conduct in-depth analyses of trading data to identify trends, anomalies, and growth opportunities.
Build predictive models using Python and Jupyter notebooks to forecast market movements and enhance trading strategies.
Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to derive actionable insights for risk management and customer behavior.

Data Visualization & Reporting
Create compelling dashboards and reports using Power BI to communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Present clear, concise, and data-backed recommendations to leadership for informed decision-making.

Collaboration & Communication
Collaborate with software and DevOps teams to integrate analytical solutions into our trading platform.
Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to align data initiatives with business goals.
Communicate complex findings in a straightforward manner to diverse teams.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation
Stay current with industry trends, new methodologies, and best practices in data analytics and data science.
Regularly assess and improve data-related workflows to enhance efficiency and scalability.

Required Qualifications
Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.

Technical Expertise:
Proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, etc.).
Hands-on experience with SQL and database technologies (preferably ClickHouse).
Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools like Airflow.
Experience building interactive dashboards in Power BI or similar BI tools.

Analytical Skills: Strong foundation in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning algorithms.
Domain Knowledge: Understanding of Forex, trading platforms, or the finance sector.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear, succinct manner.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes or other cloud platforms.
Familiarity with distributed computing frameworks (Spark, Hadoop).
Knowledge of other data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker).
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
Strong business acumen with an understanding of quantitative finance and algorithmic trading.
