General Requirements
We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Specialist to manage and optimize our company's IT infrastructure at an enterprise telecom scale. The ideal candidate will have experience in vendor management, stakeholder management, and a strong background in storage systems, virtualization, Linux, Microsoft
technologies, DevOps/SRE, service management, and backup solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities
• To support DC Manager in providing key inputs to the ITS DC Architectural designs; to improve the availability of ITS systems and services.
• To execute the operation of DC Facilities and Services, including HW, OS and Databases.
• To ensure a stable operating environment in terms of Data Centre services and facilities in the assigned region
• To operate the IT Infrastructure projects in the area of assigned regions.
• To support DC manager to remain fully aligned with the core DC operation and strategies under Datacenter and Infrastructure Operation Management supervision.
• To monitor and evaluate the performance of vendors related to Data Centre Services
• To provide subject matter expertise for our private cloud virtualization platforms
• To work closely with the Network Group IP team to ensure Infrastructure stability and network capacity in the regions.
• To support DC manager in implementing strategies and ensuring the technical direction of Data Centre to gain and support competitive advantage for through the Data Centre infrastructure.
• To liaise with different ITS teams, business units, and outsourcing partners in the assigned region to fulfil business requirements in Infrastructure.
• To operate post-implementation review of live systems where Infrastructure plays a role in ensuring proper operation of services.
• To control different outsourcing partners and play the role of a mediator to resolve conflicts among them
• To develop new solutions for ITS private cloud and DevOps/SRE based infrastructures and services
• Provide Requirements analysis and design solution for project
• Coordinate with the onsite and offshore developers with respect to issues and follow up
• To Work closely with application development & support groups to ensure smooth go-live support
• To defines, develops, documents and maintains standards, best practices, and deployment frameworks
• Engages with project teams to develop and agree technical infrastructure solutions for project deployments
• To Lead infrastructure initiatives and projects regarding cloud/datacenter landscape
• Manage technical project review meetings. Ensure project technical designs meet operational requirements and are in compliance with infrastructure and security standards
• Proactively identify and address stability, capacity, and performance concerns
• To identify, develop, & implement solutions to other needs for process automation
• Participate in on-call and potentially some after-hours support as required
• To provide different management, operations, and ad hoc reports according to manager needs per DC Services, Facilities, performance and etc.

• Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure to support enterprise telecom operations.
• Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors to procure, install, and maintain hardware and software solutions.

• Communication Skills: Ability to clearly convey information and ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with DevOps tools and practices.
• Familiarity with SRE principles and practices.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with Service management and ITIL principles and practices.
