Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Area Sales Manager to lead and manage our sales operations within a designated area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for hiring, onboarding, training, and tracking the performance of subordinates and vendors. You will collaborate with business partners, develop market expansion strategies, and ensure the achievement of all key performance indicators (KPIs). Strong leadership skills, a background in FMCG, and a deep understanding of sales strategies and market dynamics are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Hiring, onboarding, training and tracking all the subordinates in relevant area
- Vendor's acquisition, onboarding, training, performance tracking and improvement in relevant area
- Cooperation and coordination with all relevant business partners in relevant area
- Market visit plan to find the current situation of each relevant cities and vendors to find the gaps, issues, improvement areas, competitors, opportunities,...
- Cross function cooperation with Express Commercial, Express Operation and Business Insight teams
- Prepare a proper weekly/Monthly report of the area performance
- Prepare expansion plan in the area (new cities/provinces)
- Owner of all contracts with relevant vendors and financial subjects
- Owner of all promotions and business initiation in the area like Marketing's campaign, Snapp pro, Packmart, ...
- Owner of total performance in the area, in terms of all relevant KPIs which defined by business
- Monthly meeting with important/key-account vendors
Qualifications:
FMCG background.
- Proven work experience in sales management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to analyze key performance indicators.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A solid understanding of online sales strategies, techniques, and best practices is crucial for success in this role.
- Networking, building, and maintaining strong relationships with customers, partners, and other stakeholders in the region is key to driving sales and achieving targets.
- Industry knowledge by good understanding of the industry, market dynamics, and competitive landscape is crucial for developing successful sales strategies
- Proficiency in English (intermediate level)
