What You’ll Do
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust and scalable IT and network infrastructures, aligning with business objectives and security best practices.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution for complex network and system issues, acting as an escalation point for the IT HelpDesk team.
- Develop and implement network solutions, including LAN, WAN, Switching, Routing, Subnetting, VLAN, NAT, ARP, and Firewall configurations.
- Possess deep knowledge of Network Layers (OSI Model) and apply this understanding to network design and problem-solving.
- Manage and optimize network performance, ensuring high availability and reliability of all IT services.
- Familiarity with DevOps/SRE principles and practices, contributing to automation and continuous improvement of IT operations.
- Conduct regular audits of IT and networking assets, ensuring proper documentation and inventory management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify IT requirements and develop effective technical solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance IT efficiency and security.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all IT systems, configurations, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with relevant IT policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven extensive experience as an IT Engineer, with a significant portion in a senior or lead technical role.
- Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with network devices and technologies, including routers, switches, firewalls, and network protocols.
- Strong expertise in network solution design and implementation.
- Solid understanding and practical experience with Network Layers (OSI Model).
- Certifications: Possess industry-recognized IT and networking certifications such as CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) and MTCNA (MikroTik Certified Network Associate). Other relevant certifications are a plus.
- Experience with WAN and LAN technologies, including configuration and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in Switching, Routing, Subnetting, VLAN, NAT, ARP, and Firewall management.
- Familiarity with DevOps/SRE concepts and tools for automation and infrastructure as code.
- Experience with team management, including mentoring and guiding junior IT staff.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- A proactive and results-oriented approach to IT management.
