Catalog Operations Specialist

As a Catalog Operations Specialist, you are the architect of our digital marketplace. You will ensure that thousands of restaurants and millions of menu items are presented perfectly to our users. Reporting to the In-App Merchandising Operations Manager, you will balance speed and precision to ensure that what a user sees in the app is accurate, appetizing, and ready to order.

 Responsibilities :

• Storefront Maintenance: Execute the daily logic of the digital "shelf space." You manually or programmatically adjust vendor priority, update sponsored listing placements, and ensure the app reflects the current inventory and commercial agreements.
• Attribute Optimization: Assign and manage accurate attributes (tags) for thousands of SKUs and restaurant profiles. This includes meal types (e.g., Breakfast, Late-night snacks), and cuisine categories.
• Filter Integrity: Regularly audit the app’s filtering system to ensure no "dead results." If a user filters for "Top Rated," you ensure the back-end logic accurately reflects the current status of the vendors.
• Campaign Deployment: Own the end-to-end technical setup of all in-app assets. While the Manager defines the campaign, you are the one in the CMS building the banners, configuring the carousels, and scheduling the "collections" to go live on time.
• Quality Assurance (The "Perfect Store" Audit): Perform daily "Store Walks" within the app. Beyond fixing broken links, you will audit the quality of food photography or missing images and the clarity of item descriptions to maintain TapsiFood’s brand standards.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Act as the primary point of contact for technical "glitches" in the merchandising funnel. If a promotion isn't firing or a merchant isn't appearing, you investigate the backend and resolve the issue.
• Commercial Support Execution: Coordinate with the Commercial team to ensure that brand partners' assets (banners, SKU lists, promo codes) are uploaded and tagged correctly according to their contracts.

Required Skills & Experience : 

• Experience: 1–3 years in E-commerce/Q-Commerce. Experience specifically in Food-Tech (aggregators) is a significant plus.
• Technical Execution: Expert-level proficiency in CMS. You should be the person people go to when they can't figure out how to configure a complex app feature.
• Analytical Execution: Advanced Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) is mandatory. Bonus points for basic SQL knowledge to pull your own reports without waiting on the Data Team.
• Operational Discipline: Exceptional attention to detail. You take pride in the fact that your deployments are "bug-free" and your naming conventions are perfect.
• Speed: Ability to execute tasks in an "always-on" environment where a 10-minute delay in a campaign can mean lost revenue.
• Process Improver: You don't just follow the manual; you look for ways to automate repetitive catalog tasks.
