We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Data & AI Project Manager to drive our most impactful data initiatives. The Role
We are looking for an experienced and strategic Data & AI Project Manager to spearhead our data-centric initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of projects that span business intelligence, data management, and applied machine learning. You will act as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that our data projects solve real-world problems and deliver significant business value.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of data and AI projects, ensuring they align with business objectives and are completed on time.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of our Business Intelligence (BI) infrastructure, including creating dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights.
- Manage data governance, quality, and warehousing processes to ensure data is accurate, reliable, and accessible for analysis and modeling.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and operational teams to identify and prioritize opportunities for applying AI and machine learning to solve key business challenges.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables for initiatives such as recommendation engines, customer segmentation, and pricing optimization models.
- Communicate project status, progress, and outcomes effectively to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Guide and mentor data analysts and engineers, promoting a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous learning.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in data project management, BI management, or a similar role with a proven track record of delivering successful data-driven solutions.
- Strong practical knowledge of project management methodologies for technical projects.
- Demonstrated experience with BI tools (such as Power BI or Tableau) and data visualization techniques.
- Solid understanding of data management fundamentals, including ETL, data warehousing, and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML concepts, including model development, evaluation, and basic implementation using common frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn or TensorFlow).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field like Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or Engineering.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the e-commerce or technology industry.
- Experience with the machine learning project lifecycle, from conception to deployment and monitoring (MLOps).
- Fluency in Python and its data science libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn).
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
