Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Frontend Developer, specializing in React.js and Next.js, to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will be at the forefront of building exceptional, user-centric web applications. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality user interfaces and ensuring optimal performance and user experience for Koocafe's platforms. You will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to bring innovative features to life.
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Frontend Developer, specializing in React.js and Next.js, to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will be at the forefront of building exceptional, user-centric web applications. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality user interfaces and ensuring optimal performance and user experience for Koocafe's platforms. You will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to bring innovative features to life.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, responsive, and performant web applications using React.js and Next.js.Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, reusable code.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and implement user-facing features.
- Optimize components for maximum performance across various devices and browsers.
- Write clean, efficient, testable, and maintainable code following frontend development best practices.
- Perform frontend code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Troubleshoot and debug frontend components and applications to resolve issues promptly.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in frontend development, particularly within the React and Next.js ecosystems.
- Contribute to improving frontend architecture and development processes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Frontend Developer with at least 4 years of experience, demonstrating strong expertise in building complex web applications.
- Deep proficiency in React.js and its core principles (components, state management, hooks).Significant experience with Next.js for server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), API routes, and performance optimization.
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 (including preprocessors like SASS/LESS), and modern JavaScript (ES6+).Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand, Context API).
- Experience with frontend testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library).
- Experience consuming RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively within a team environment.
- High level of English, both written and verbal.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Experience with UI component libraries (e.g., Material UI, Chakra UI).
- Understanding of SEO best practices for frontend development.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for frontend applications.
