Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance and scalable backend services using Golang
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Collaborate with product managers and other engineers to define, design, and ship new features
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews
- Troubleshoot and debug production issues
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in backend software development
- Strong proficiency in Golang
- Solid understanding of database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL)
- Experience with message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ) is a plus
- Familiarity with testing methodologies (unit, integration, end-to-end)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- Good communication skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
- Experience in the travel or e-commerce industry
