DevOps Engineer (CashIt)

CashIt is a specialized platform for exchanging and settling cryptocurrencies and international fiat currencies. With a primary focus on OTC trading and currency transfers, it enables users to quickly and securely convert crypto to fiat (and vice versa). The platform provides services such as buying and selling Tether and other cryptocurrencies, settling AED (Dirham), USD, and EUR outside Iran, liquidity management for high-volume clients, and customized solutions for traders and business professionals. Overall, CashIt strives to make the process of moving capital both inside and outside the country simpler, more transparent, and fully trustworthy.

Join our team as a skilled and impact-driven DevOps Engineer to support a lean product setup consisting of backend, frontend, and infrastructure components. You’ll work in a focused, hands-on environment where your contributions directly shape system stability, automation, and scalability. This role involves owning real responsibilities, solving practical challenges, and helping evolve the technical foundation of the product.

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

Develop, operate, and continuously improve reliable and scalable infrastructure across leading cloud environments.
Create and manage automated CI/CD workflows using GitLab CI to ensure safe and consistent deployments in all stages.
Apply Infrastructure as Code principles with tools such as Terraform or Ansible to provision, maintain, and version infrastructure resources.
Work closely with engineering and product teams to improve system performance, visibility, and stability through monitoring and observability tools including Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
Investigate and resolve production incidents, conduct thorough root-cause analysis, and deliver long-term solutions in high-traffic, business-critical systems.
Oversee and fine-tune highly available data stores such as PostgreSQL and Redis, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and resilience.
Take part in on-call rotations, providing timely incident response to reduce service disruption and operational impact.
