PMO Manager

Job Description:
The PMO Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the Project Management Office, ensuring that projects are aligned with the organization's strategic objectives, timelines, and budgets. In the IT/ICT industry, this role involves implementing project management processes, monitoring project progress, and continuously analyzing project data to identify opportunities and challenges. The PMO Manager must also collaborate with various teams, establish and enforce project management standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency. This role requires strong skills in resource management, budgeting, and stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities:
Planning and Supervision:
Develop project management strategies, policies, and methodologies within the organization.
Monitor project execution processes from start to finish, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and requirements.
Resource and Budget Management:
Manage financial, human, and technical resources for projects.
Monitor project budgets and ensure adherence to financial constraints.
Development and Implementation of Organizational Strategies:

Participate in the development of the organization's strategic goals and ensure project alignment with these strategies.
Propose and implement strategic solutions to improve project performance and outcomes.
Risk Management and Issue Resolution:

Identify and manage risks and challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide practical solutions to resolve issues and ensure successful project delivery.
Performance Evaluation and Continuous Improvement:

Evaluate project performance and analyze data to identify strengths and weaknesses.
Design and implement training programs and improve PMO processes to enhance project team capabilities.
 
Requirements:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree (preferably in Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, Project Management, or related fields).
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in project management, with at least 3 years in PMO management in the IT/ICT industry.
Experience in budgeting, resource management, and organizational strategy is required.
Skills:
Technical and Specialized:
In-depth knowledge of project management standards (PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum).
Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello, etc.
Ability to manage and analyze project budgets and financial reporting.
Management and Strategic:

Ability to develop and implement organizational strategies and align projects with broader business objectives.
Strong skills in data analysis to support decision-making and improve project performance.
Communication and Leadership:

Strong leadership skills for managing project teams and liaising with various stakeholders (senior managers, technical teams, etc.).
Negotiation and conflict resolution skills to ensure successful project execution.
Certifications (Preferred):
PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification.
Agile certifications (CSM, PMI-ACP).
Familiarity with ITIL and DevOps concepts.
