About SternX
SternX is building the next generation of platforms in Digital Safety, Unified Endpoint Management (UEM), and Compliance Automation. Our secure, scalable solutions help businesses and educational institutions manage devices, enforce policy, and automate IT operations from a single interface.
We’re looking for a Product Owner who brings both strategic product thinking and strong execution to drive the vision, roadmap, and delivery of our product offerings. This is a high-impact role at the center of product and engineering.
Role Overview
As a Product Owner at SternX, you will own product outcomes for a core domain within our UEM/security ecosystem. You will define direction, manage the backlog, lead agile delivery, and ensure measurable business value is delivered consistently.
You will work at the intersection of product, engineering, design, QA, sales, support, and marketing—turning enterprise needs into clear priorities and high-quality releases.
Key Responsibilities
Product Vision & Strategy
- Define and communicate a clear product vision aligned with SternX’s business goals
- Own and maintain a strategic roadmap with measurable objectives and milestones
- Use customer insights, market trends, and product analytics to evolve the product domain
Backlog Ownership & Delivery Execution
- Build, refine, and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, customer impact, and technical risk
- Translate epics into well-defined user stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Break down complex initiatives into incremental deliverables (MVP → iterations) to drive continuous delivery
- Ensure clarity on the Definition of Ready/Done and maintain high backlog hygiene
Agile & Scrum Leadership
- Lead sprint planning, daily collaboration, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Partner with engineering and QA to ensure predictable delivery and high quality
- Remove ambiguity, unblock decisions, and support the team in execution
Stakeholder Alignment & Communication
- Align priorities and product goals with leadership and internal stakeholders
- Build strong feedback loops with Sales, Support, and Customer Success to capture real customer pain points
- Collaborate with Marketing on positioning, release messaging, and enablement materials
- Communicate release scope, timelines, trade-offs, and outcomes transparently
Market & Competitor Research
- Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify opportunities and risks
- Track enterprise and IT/security ecosystem trends and translate them into actionable product decisions
- Support discovery with structured research (interviews, surveys, analytics, experimentation)
Core Objectives
- Maintain a strong connection between business strategy and product execution
- Ensure transparency, alignment, and prioritization across stakeholders
- Deliver high-impact improvements through continuous discovery and delivery
- Strengthen SternX’s position in the enterprise UEM/security market through smart, data-informed decisions
Required Skills & Experience
- 4–7 years of experience in Product Ownership or Product Management in a B2B SaaS environment
- Strong understanding of Scrum/Agile methodologies and hands-on sprint execution
- Proven ability to slice and deliver product initiatives incrementally and predictably
- Strong research and analytical skills (problem discovery, root-cause analysis, decision frameworks)
- Experience working closely with Sales/Support/Marketing in enterprise product environments
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and prototyping tools like Figma
- Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and collaboration in design sprints
- Technical fluency across platforms such as iOS, Android, Windows, and macOS
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills and fluent English (spoken & written)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience as a Scrum Master or in startup product environments
- Agile/Scrum certifications such as CSPO, PSM, or SAFe PO/PM
- Familiarity with security, endpoint management (MDM/UEM), or compliance automation platforms
