As the innovation and investment center of Digikala, the TI is entrusted with the responsibility of crafting short-term and mid-term solutions.
Responsibilities:
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into intuitive user interfaces.
- Conducting user research, usability testing, and gathering feedback to iterate on designs and ensure they meet user needs and expectations.
- Creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications, considering usability, accessibility, and visual appeal.
- Working with development teams to ensure the successful implementation of designs, providing guidance and support throughout the development process.
- Contributing to the establishment and maintenance of design systems, style guides, and other design documentation to ensure consistency across products and platforms.
- Staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX/UI design, and sharing knowledge with the team.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, and marketing to drive product success and achieve business objectives.
- Communicating design decisions and rationale effectively to stakeholders, advocating for user-centric design principles and the importance of usability.
- Proactively seeking feedback and continuously iterating on designs to improve user experiences and meet project goals.
- Maintaining a high standard of quality in all design deliverables, ensuring they align with project requirements, brand guidelines, and design best practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process, including wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and final product designs.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar software.
- Understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Ability to conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented mindset with excellent organizational skills.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools like JIRA or Trello.
- Experience in creating comprehensive product documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and release notes.
Additional Skills (a Plus):
- A Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with motion design and animation to enhance user interactions and engagement.
- Familiarity with front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, enabling collaboration with developers and a deeper understanding of implementation constraints.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment, including participation in sprint planning, stand-up meetings, and retrospectives.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines (e.g., WCAG) to ensure designs are inclusive and accessible to all users.
- Familiarity with user research methodologies such as contextual inquiry, ethnographic studies, or A/B testing.
- Experience designing for enterprise-level applications.
- Strong storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate design concepts and solutions to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Contributions to the design community through participation in conferences, meetups, or open-source projects.
- Fluency in additional languages beyond English, particularly languages spoken by target user demographics.
