We are hiring an experienced and detail-oriented General Accounting Manager with strong knowledge of Iranian accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting practices. The ideal candidate must demonstrate leadership capabilities, technical expertise in financial accounting, and the ability to ensure compliance with local laws and standards (incl. Iranian Commercial Code, Direct Taxation Act, and Social Security regulations).Key Responsibilities:Preparation of monthly consolidated financial statements in compliance with Iranian Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS-based where applicable)Monthly closing of general and subsidiary ledgers (تراز معین و تفصیلی), ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and reconciledMonthly review, reconciliation, and finalization of account balances, including intercompany accounts within the groupPreparation of monthly intercompany reconciliation reports in accordance with group policiesCompilation and submission of monthly Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statement, and Cash Flow StatementReview and validation of monthly insurance and tax risk reports prepared by the respective unitsDaily supervision and control of accounting entries and documents registered by junior accountantsWeekly review of trial balances and ensuring alignment with ledger entriesOversight and compliance review of commercial and service contracts, ensuring alignment with tax and accounting implicationsCoordination with external auditors and tax authorities, as requiredQualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldMinimum 7 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial roleFull proficiency in Iranian tax laws, value-added tax (VAT) procedures, labor law, social security regulations, and statutory financial reportingFamiliarity with accounting software (e.g., Rahkaran, Pardazeshgaran, or other ERP systems)Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail, accountability, and ethical commitmentTeam-oriented with a systematic approach and passion for process improvement and staff development
