We are looking for a proactive and skilled Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of the systems that power Invex’s products, working closely with DevOps, Development, and Production teams.

Responsibilities
- Design and operate scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure across containerized, and on-prem systems.
- Manage and optimize virtualization platforms (VMware, KVM, or similar) and ensure smooth integration with cloud environments.
- Oversee networking, load balancing, and storage to maintain high performance and stability.
- Automate provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Ansible, ensuring consistency and reproducibility.
- Implement and monitor observability solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) to track system health and performance.
- Define and maintain backup and disaster recovery processes to ensure data resilience.
- Apply security hardening, OS patching, and access control best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support deployments, scalability, and incident response.
- Document infrastructure standards, topologies, and operational procedures.
Skills & Qualifications
- +5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering or systems administration, managing production environments.
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting background.
- Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM, or Proxmox).
- Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools: Terraform, Ansible.
- Good knowledge of networking fundamentals: routing, VPNs, firewalls, DNS, and load balancing.
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar).
- Familiarity with Kubernetes infrastructure and cluster management is a plus.
- Scripting and automation experience (Python, Go).
- Understanding of security best practices, backups, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with hybrid infrastructure (cloud + on-prem) and data center operations.
- Familiarity with storage systems (SAN/NAS/iSCSI) and backup tools (Veeam, Commvault, or similar).
- Knowledge of compliance and audit requirements for financial environments (ISO, SOC, etc.).
