We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Hosting Operations Specialist to keep everything running 24/7 with maximum uptime and performance.
Role Overview
You’ll own the day-to-day operations and health of our hosting infrastructure. This means managing DNS, CDN, mail services, SSL certificates, FTP accounts, and web server configurations (mostly IIS on Windows Server + some Linux/NGINX). You’ll prepare clean deployment targets for developers, handle client hosting requests, and jump in quickly when something goes down. Discipline, curiosity, and strong troubleshooting skills are crucial.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage DNS records and CDN configurations (Cloudflare, ArvanCloud)
• Set up and maintain hosting environments and deployment targets used by the dev team
• Administer mail services through Plesk, fix deliverability problems, and support client mailboxes
• Create and manage FTP/SFTP accounts
• Handle occasional website/service migrations to new servers
• Install, renew, and automate SSL/TLS certificates (Let’s Encrypt, commercial certs)
• Configure and troubleshoot IIS (Windows) and occasional NGINX (Linux)
• Work closely with developers, support, and sales teams to resolve hosting-related tickets fast
• Document processes and run small R&D projects to improve reliability and speed
Required Skills
• Hands-on experience with hosting control panels (Plesk is a must, cPanel is a plus)
• Solid understanding of DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, FTP/SFTP, SMTP/IMAP, SSL/TLS, and CDN concepts
• Ability to stay calm and act decisively when a site or service is down
• Strong sense of discipline and ownership
Nice to Have
• Deep Windows Server + IIS expertise
• Experience with VMware ESXi or similar virtualization platforms
• Basic Linux administration and NGINX knowledge
• Web security best practices and incident response
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Zabbix, UptimeRobot, Grafana, etc.)
• Knowledge of SQL Server and ASP.NET application hosting
• Scripting/automation skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
• Networking fundamentals (firewalls, VLANs, load balancers)
What We Offer
• Complementary health insurance
• Flexible working hours + remote-friendly policy
• Growth opportunities in an expanding company
