About The Role:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Design Team Lead to join our product team. - Design Excellence: Spearhead the creation of exceptional features by actively participating in all phases of the product development process, from ideation to implementation.
- Iterative Design: Apply design thinking principles to bring an iterative and user-centered approach to every project phase, ensuring customer experiences are both engaging and elegantly simple.
- Prototyping and Wireframing: Develop user flows, prototypes, and wireframes at varying levels of fidelity—from rough concepts for brainstorming sessions to development-ready designs—to effectively communicate your ideas to stakeholders and the team.
- Advocate for User Experience: Champion high standards of excellence in delivering delightful user experiences, supporting the team in meeting and exceeding these standards.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, scrum masters, writers, and researchers to explore creative solutions that are technically feasible and aligned with business goals.
- Stay Ahead of Trends: Continuously monitor industry trends, tools, principles, and best practices to elevate the quality of our work and ensure our customer experience remains at the forefront of the industry.
Requirements:
- Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience transforming complex problems into engaging design solutions, with a proven track record of working in agile environments with distributed teams and tools.
- Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading a design team, with the ability to guide, mentor, and inspire team members to achieve their best work.
- Design Expertise: Deep understanding of design processes with the ability to balance technical constraints, user needs, and business objectives effectively.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing your design problem-solving abilities, aesthetic sensibility, and detailed case studies of past projects.
- Attention to Detail: A commitment to high-quality, well-crafted visual and interaction design, with a keen eye for detail.
- User Research Proficiency: Experience in user research and testing, with a solid mastery of various methods to inform design decisions.
- Data-Driven Design: Demonstrated experience in applying data-driven and user-centric design approaches to create impactful solutions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively.
- Design Systems: Experience in working with and contributing to design systems, ensuring consistency and scalability across products.
