About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior SEO Specialist to own end-to-end organic growth across SafarMarket’s verticals (flights, trains, hotels, guides)—from strategy and technical improvements to content, link acquisition, analytics, and dashboarding.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and execute the SEO strategy for transactional and content pages to grow organic traffic and revenue.
- Run comprehensive technical audits (crawl/indexation, CWV, speed, URL structure, canonicals, robots.txt, sitemaps, schema).
- Conduct advanced keyword research, clustering, and information architecture; plan and launch high-intent landing pages.
- Drive on-page optimization (titles, metas, headings, internal links, schema) and plan off-page programs (digital PR, quality link building).
- Lead the content program: briefs, editorial calendar, refreshes of money pages, E-E-A-T enhancements.
- Partner with engineering to deploy fixes; monitor Core Web Vitals and crawl/index health.
- Analyze performance with GA4/GSC and third-party tools; build KPI dashboards (Looker Studio/Metabase/Power BI).
- Track competitors and SERP trends in the travel vertical (flights, trains, hotels, rich results).
Must-Have Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on SEO experience with demonstrable results
- Strong command of on-page, off-page, technical SEO, content, data analysis, and dashboard building.
- Proficiency with Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs/Semrush, PageSpeed Insights/Lighthouse.
- Data skills: advanced Excel/Sheets; strong Looker Studio dashboarding.
- Excellent written Persian; comfortable reading technical resources in English; clear technical documentation skills.
Nice-to-Have
- SEO experience in travel/marketplace and at large scale.
- Log analysis, BigQuery or Python for SEO analytics.
- Digital PR and content/data-driven link acquisition.
