You will design and scale mission-critical systems for Payments, Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL), and Supply Chain Financing (SCF), ensuring maximum reliability, financial integrity, and securityResponsibilities:Define microservices and event-driven architectures; document technical decisions (ADRs) and set Python engineering standards.Lead the technical design for payment orchestration, credit lifecycles (BNPL), and multi-party settlements (SCF).Ensure strict idempotency, ledger consistency, and auditability to prevent double-charging or reconciliation errors.Own system performance (SLAs/SLOs), observability (logging/tracing), and lead incident response for critical financial flows.Enforce secure coding (PCI-DSS standards) and partner with Risk/Audit teams to ensure regulatory readiness.Coach senior engineers in advanced Python patterns and distributed systems design.Qualifications:7–10+ years in Backend Development, with 3+ years in a Leadership/Architecture role within Fintech or Banking.Advanced proficiency in Python (Asyncio), FastAPI/Django, and high-throughput RESTful APIs.Deep knowledge of Message Queues, Saga patterns, and ACID-compliant transactional database design.Practical experience with payment lifecycles, installment scheduling, and invoice maturity/factoring.Familiarity with CI/CD, Containerization (Docker/K8s), and safe release strategies.Zero-tolerance mindset for financial calculation errors or data inconsistency.Ability to lead through influence and manage cross-functional stakeholders (Product, Risk, Business).Balancing rapid delivery with long-term platform stability and technical debt management.Benefits:Work-from-home optionFlexible working hoursTraining courses and professional development opportunitiesMilitary service project (Limited)Supplemental health insuranceTeam-building budgetPerformance-based bonusesLoansLunch subsidies
