The Junior Litigation Specialist is responsible for supporting the legal team in managing and resolving a wide range of disputes and litigation matters. This entry-level role is ideal for a motivated individual looking to build a career in the dynamic intersection of law and technology, specifically within the challenging and evolving regulatory landscape of cryptocurrency in Iran. You will assist in protecting the company's interests and ensuring compliance with relevant local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Litigation Support: Assist legal team in all phases of the litigation and dispute resolution process, including case preparation, discovery, and documentation.
Registration Affaires: Manage the preparation, filing, and registration of official company documents with relevant government authorities, including the Companies Registration Office, ensuring all corporate records are up-to-date and in compliance with statutory requirements.
Document Drafting & Management: Help draft, review, and organize legal documents such as initial pleadings, motions, briefs, and internal corporate resolutions under supervision.
Legal Research: Conduct detailed legal research on Iranian laws and regulations pertinent to our cases and corporate operations, with a specific focus on digital assets, financial regulations, and corporate law.
Compliance Monitoring: Support the compliance function by helping to track and analyze new regulations and legal developments affecting the cryptocurrency industry and corporate governance in Iran.
Case & Registry Management: Maintain and organize litigation case files and corporate registry records, track deadlines, and manage calendars to ensure all procedural and filing requirements are met.
Internal Coordination: Serve as a liaison between the legal team and other internal departments to gather information for cases and corporate filings.
External Counsel Liaison: Facilitate communication with and provide necessary documents to external legal counsel and government agencies as directed.
Mandatory Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B.) from an accredited Iranian university.
Work Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of post-qualification experience practicing as an Attorney at Law, with demonstrated experience in litigation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven experience working in a startup or fast-growing technology company.
Experience in technology law, financial regulations, or digital assets.
Familiarity with cryptocurrency exchange operations and blockchain technology.
Experience with the Iranian Companies Registration Office procedures.
