About the Role
Action Model is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our growing team and help drive the development, deployment, and management of our AI-driven workflow platform. You will work closely with software development, AI workflow, and QA teams to ensure smooth, reliable, and scalable delivery pipelines. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative startup environment and enjoys building infrastructure, automation, and cloud-native solutions from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
● CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines to enable rapid, reliable software releases.
● Cloud Infrastructure: Deploy and manage cloud resources, ensuring scalability, security, and cost efficiency across platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
● Automation & Scripting: Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline workflows, environment setup, testing, and deployment.
● Monitoring & Incident Response: Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to proactively detect and resolve issues in production and development environments.
● Collaboration: Work closely with software development and AI workflow teams to support development, testing, and deployment needs.
● Security & Compliance: Ensure best practices for security, data protection, and compliance are embedded into all processes and deployments.
● Performance Optimization: Continuously optimize infrastructure and deployment pipelines for speed, reliability, and efficiency.
● Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Maintain clear documentation of infrastructure, processes, and configurations to ensure team-wide knowledge sharing.
Essential Requirements
● Technical Expertise: Strong experience with cloud platforms, especially with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). AWS and Azure are nice-to-have experiences.
● CI/CD Tools: Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI.
● Infrastructure as Code: Proficiency with tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
● Scripting & Automation: Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages and familiarity with Linux OS.
● Monitoring & Logging: Familiarity with monitoring tools such as GCP Monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar.
● Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.
● Agile Collaboration: Comfortable working in an Agile environment, coordinating closely with cross-functional teams. ● Startup Mindset: Adaptable, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.
