As an Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the company’s financial health by maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and enabling data-informed decision-making. You will work closely with the Finance Manager and cross-functional teams to manage day-to-day accounting operations and support financial reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Recordkeeping & Reporting:
• Manage daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records in line with internal policies and external regulations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
• Monitor and process payments to suppliers and service providers, ensuring timely settlements.
• Track receivables and coordinate with customers to manage collections and resolve payment issues.
• Maintain up-to-date records of incoming and outgoing payments.
Audit & Compliance:
• Assist in preparing documents for internal and external audits.
• Ensure adherence to legal, tax, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks through compliance and process improvement.
Collaboration & Communication:
• Work closely with the Finance Manager and cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Liaise with vendors, customers, and banks for financial documentation and issue resolution.
• Provide support for financial analysis and decision-making as needed.
Process Improvement:
• Recommend and implement improvements to accounting systems and processes.
• Support the implementation of internal controls and assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements.

Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with accounting software.
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
