Role Overview
We are seeking a senior strategist who goes beyond conventional SEO tactics to lead the organization’s organic growth. In this role, you will transform SEO from a technical channel into a revenue-driving engine and work closely with executive leadership to achieve business objectives.
What You Will Drive
1) Growth Architecture & Strategic Roadmap
Own the SEO roadmap end-to-end. Translate business goals (e.g., market share and revenue growth) into precise SEO action plans. Integrate technical, content, and off-page strategies aligned with the company’s business model.
2) Authority Engineering & Content Ecosystem
Build topical authority beyond keyword research. Leverage deep user intent analysis and topic cluster models to position the brand as a primary source of answers in its domain.
3) Technical & Product Synergy
Act as the bridge between Marketing and Engineering/Product. Ensure site health, monitor Core Web Vitals, and anticipate SEO risks during technological or product changes.
4) Data-Driven & Agile Leadership
Replace assumptions with evidence. Design transparent performance dashboards, implement agile processes within the SEO function, and prioritize initiatives using an impact/effort framework.
5) Team Development & Capability Building
Operate as both leader and coach. Recruit and structure the SEO function (technical, content, off-page), elevate team capability, and manage external contractors and agencies.
6) Technology Foresight
Continuously monitor algorithm shifts (e.g., E-E-A-T) and integrate emerging technologies, including AI/LLMs, to maintain competitive advantage.
7) Off-Page Strategy & Digital PR
Develop creative link acquisition and digital PR strategies to strengthen domain authority and manage the backlink profile.
Additional Scope of Engagement
- Contribute as an interviewer in hiring processes for SEO-related roles.
- Provide mentorship and strategic guidance to team members when required.
Candidate Profile
- Business Acumen: Treat SEO as an investment. Understand revenue models and connect organic performance to ROI and CLV.
- Technical Mastery: Deep understanding of search engine interaction with code (e.g., JavaScript, rendering) and ability to influence engineering execution.
- Analytical Problem Solver: Synthesize data from tools (GSC, GA4, Ahrefs, etc.) to diagnose fluctuations and deliver actionable solutions.
- Digital Agility: Rapidly adopt modern tools; leverage automation and AI to increase team velocity.
- Communication & Leadership: Translate complex concepts for non-technical stakeholders and motivate teams toward ambitious targets.
- CRO & Local SEO Mindset: Optimize for conversion, not just traffic; collaborate on UX/CTA improvements and apply local SEO best practices where relevant.
English Communication Requirement
Candidates must be able to communicate effectively in English in professional contexts. They should be able to understand and participate in discussions, even if supported by speech-to-text tools when needed.
