Skills and Requirements:
- Knowledge of Teaching Approaches: Familiarity with diverse teaching methodologies and approaches, as well as an understanding of the postmethod condition, is essential to foster learner autonomy and meet the unique needs of each classroom.
- Adaptability: Teachers must be capable of adjusting to a variety of classroom contexts, as the institute caters to learners ranging from true beginners to advanced levels.
- Qualifications: Training in English Language Teaching (ELT) through recognized programs or academic courses is required.
- Syllabus Implementation: While the institute provides a suggested syllabus for each course, teachers are encouraged to propose modifications tailored to their class needs, subject to supervisor approval.
- Cooperative Observations: Teachers will engage in cooperative observations with the supervisor, which include pre-observation and post-observation sessions. These sessions are designed to promote critical reflection, foster a sense of collaboration, and encourage professional growth through constructive feedback and dialogue.
- Professional Development: Teachers are expected to participate in Thursday Training Sessions, provided free of charge. These sessions are designed to support continuous professional growth and are informed by cooperative observations conducted by the supervisor throughout the term.
