• Fluent in English (speaking & writing – VERY IMPORTANT)
• PHP / JavaScript / HTML & CSS skills must be really good
• Knows WordPress and Elementor inside out
• Has an understanding of on-page SEO / technical SEO / Core Web Vitals
About the Role
We’re looking for a Full-Stack WordPress Developer who is strong in WordPress development and has solid on-page and technical SEO knowledge.
When we give you SEO-related tasks or goals, you should be able to figure out the solution and implement it yourself.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, maintain and optimize WordPress websitesusing pre-made themes and custom code, or build new websites from scratch (0 to 100).
• Write, debug and refactor PHP, JavaScript, HTML and CSS in a WordPress environment.
• Confidently adjust and patch existing code to improve design, layout and functionality on pre-built themes.
• Work with Elementor daily and, when needed, with ACF and custom templates.
• Convert Figma designs into WordPress pages in Elementor, ensuring pixel-perfect visuals and correct functionality on desktop, tablet and mobile.
• Use WordPress development best practices:
o Theme hierarchy and child themes
o Hooks (actions/filters)
o Custom post types, taxonomies and custom fields (ACF)
• Handle basic hosting/server tasks via cPanel/WHM: creating accounts, managing files, SSL, backups and simple migrations.
• Perform site migrations between servers/environments (files + database, URLs, fixing common issues).
• Help keep sites secure and stable: updates, minimal plugin bloat, sanitizing/escaping, backups.
Performance, Technical SEO & Analytics
• Implement on-page and technical SEO tasks we assign (e.g. “improve LCP on this page”, “fix CLS/layout shift”, “optimize this page for keyword X”).
• Improve and maintain Core Web Vitals and general performance:
o Caching, minification, image optimization
o Reducing render-blocking resources
o Identifying and fixing heavy plugins or scripts
• Make sure pages are indexable and technically sound:
o Title tags, meta descriptions, headings
o Internal linking, canonical basics, XML sitemaps
• Implement and manage tracking tags:
o Add and configure Google Tag Manager / tracking snippets
o Set up simple events (e.g. form submissions, button clicks)
o Test and verify that tags fire correctly
Technical Requirements
• Fluent English – both spoken and written (VERY IMPORTANT).
• Strong skills in PHP, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
• Solid understanding of responsive design and browser dev tools (inspect, debug CSS/JS).
• Deep experience with WordPress CMS: themes, plugins, customizations and troubleshooting.
• Strong experience with Elementor (you can build complex layouts and tweak them via custom code).
• Familiar with ACF, custom templates and more “developer” style WordPress builds (not just drag-and-drop).
• Basic understanding of MySQL / WordPress database structure.
• Experience with Git / version control and working with staging vs production environments.
• Comfortable using cPanel/WHM or similar hosting panels, plus basic DNS/SSL/backups/migrations knowledge.
• Practical knowledge of on-page & technical SEO and Core Web Vitals, and the ability to implement fixes yourself when given SEO tasks or targets.
What We Offer
• A role where WordPress development and technical SEO implementation go hand in hand.
• Clear SEO and technical goals – we tell you what needs to improve; you have the freedom to implement the best technical solution.
• All the tools you need, provided by us:
o Access to ChatGPT
o Premium WordPress plugins
o Git repositories, staging environments and support for a proper local dev setup
• A culture where we value people who take ownership and say “I’ll figure it out and fix it”.
• The chance to work on real, impactful websites where good code and solid technical SEO genuinely matter.
If you’re a WordPress developer who also understands technical SEO and performance, and you like owning both code and outcomes, we’d like to hear from you.
