Position: Import & Customs Clearance Specialist (Telecom Industry)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate Proforma Invoices (PIs) under the company name by coordinating with suppliers.
- Manage all IML-related processes, ensuring alignment with technical specifications, ordering procedures, and legislative payments (including IML charges and customs clearance fees).
- Ensure full compliance with Iran Customs Law and other applicable import regulations.
- Handle all customs clearance activities, including shipment tracking, document transactions, and process execution in accordance with company policies and objectives.
- Monitor and report on the latest NSO and AEO policies, customs laws, and import regulations, keeping management informed of any legislative changes.
- Oversee MIMT order registration and secure currency allocation permissions based on company requirements.
- Collaborate with the finance team to complete currency allocations through CBI and NTSW, ensuring adherence to internal purchasing formalities.
- Track and manage the dispatch, entry, and transportation of goods from ports, airports, or land borders to the company’s warehouse.
- Coordinate with agents and internal departments to source optimal delivery timelines and determine appropriate HS codes for inbound shipments.
- Maintain familiarity with the full set of shipping documents required for customs clearance and banking activities.
- Work closely with the Logistics Manager to implement and execute IML, shipping, and clearance (CC) processes efficiently.
- Follow up on declarations, SATA codes, duty payments, CRA assessments, and permissions to ensure timely and compliant import operations.
- Prepare and present logistics performance reports, covering vendor SLAs, agent performance, and process efficiency metrics.
Requirements:
- Strong communication, coordination, and adaptability skills.
- Solid understanding of PMP and supply chain processes.
- Proficiency in basic data processing and documentation handling.
- Adequate English communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Prior experience in the telecom industry and familiarity with CRA customs clearance is a strong advantage
