About the Role
At Bit24, we are looking for an energetic and problem-solving Data Analyst to join our Data Team. If you are passionate about building data-driven insights to fuel product and marketing growth, and you want to make an impact in a professional and dynamic team, this opportunity is for you.
Required Technical Skills
- Advanced SQL (preferably PostgreSQL): Writing optimized queries, indexing, and performance analysis.
- Python: Strong proficiency in Pandas and NumPy; experience with Matplotlib (and ideally Plotly) for data visualization.
- Web Scraping: Hands-on experience with Requests/BeautifulSoup and Selenium; ability to handle rate limits, proxies, and anti-bot measures.
- Statistics & Experimentation: Familiarity with statistical concepts, A/B testing, and validation of results.
- Dashboarding & Reporting: Experience with Looker Studio and/or Metabase.
- APIs & Semi-structured Data: Working with JSON/CSV, data cleaning, and normalization.
- Version Control: Familiarity with Git.
- ETL/ELT: Understanding of data pipeline concepts; knowledge of Airflow/dbt is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain KPI dashboards for product and marketing teams (e.g., sign-up funnel, KYC, activation, retention, ROAS, LTV).
- Extract and integrate data from multiple sources: databases, third-party services, and web scraping.
- Conduct deep-dive analysis of user behavior and the customer journey to generate actionable insights for improving conversion rates.
- Define and analyze A/B tests, and develop data-driven recommendations.
- Visualize results with clear and accurate charts (Matplotlib/Plotly) and present findings to stakeholders.
- Monitor data quality (Data QA), define automated checks and alerts to ensure accuracy and freshness.
- Document processes/scripts and collaborate closely with engineering, product, marketing, and support teams.
- Plan, prioritize, and manage time effectively to ensure timely delivery of tasks using project management tools.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in data analysis or similar roles.
- Excellent command of SQL and Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib).
- Practical experience in large-scale web scraping and overcoming related challenges.
- Strong understanding of databases, data modeling, query optimization, and indexing.
- Problem-solving mindset with analytical thinking, attention to detail, and structured approach.
- Strong communication skills to present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Solid time management skills and accountability under deadlines.
- Familiarity with Looker Studio, Metabase, Git, and A/B testing is a plus.
- Knowledge of cryptocurrency markets, exchanges, trading pairs, and on-chain/off-chain concepts is considered an advantage.
