Role Overview:

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with design and product teams to implement intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces using Next.js / React.
• Design, implement, and optimize backend services and APIs using a blend of Nest.js and Express.js, with a strong TypeScript focus.
• Utilize your deep understanding of database design to create and optimize relational (e.g, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g, MongoDB) databases.
• Lead Git version control practices, including branching, merging, and code reviews for seamless collaboration.
• Implement Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI / CD) pipelines for efficient and dependable code deployment.
• Facilitate code deployments on Linux servers, leveraging NGINX for optimal performance.
• Develop a variety of tests, including unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end (E2E) tests, ensuring top-tier code quality.
• Utilize your familiarity with GraphQL for projects where applicable.
• Lead and mentor junior developers, fostering an environment of learning and continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges promptly.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation within the team.

Qualifications: 

• Proven track record as a Full-stack Developer, specializing in Node.js and Next.js.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Nest.js, and Express.js for robust backend development.
• Strong grasp of database design for relational and NoSQL databases.
• Solid understanding of Git version control and collaborative development workflows.
• Familiarity with Tailwind CSS for responsive and visually appealing UIs.
• Experience building UI components with Storybook.
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI / CD) practices.
• Proficiency in deploying code to Linux servers with NGINX.
• Strong testing skills, encompassing unit tests, integration tests, and E2E tests.
• Familiarity with Docker for containerization.
• Understanding of microservices architecture is a valuable asset.
• Familiarity with GraphQL is an asset.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
