Description
We are seeking a skilled Software Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of all aspects of software testing, with at least 3 years of experience. The candidate should have experience working in Agile environments, be familiar with software test processes, and have a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and testing priorities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test cases and test scripts to ensure high-quality software releases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and ensure full test coverage
- Identify, document, and track software defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues
- Perform regression testing to ensure software changes do not impact existing functionality
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies
- Participate in the ongoing enhancement of testing standards and workflows
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Software Test Engineer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
- Strong knowledge of front-end, API, back-end, and database testing
- Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
- Hands-on experience with JIRA or similar bug-tracking systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Good English communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Willingness to learn and take ownership of assigned tasks
- Familiarity with API automation using Postman is a plus
