backend developer

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our team remotely and help develop the backend infrastructure for our startup app, a marketplace for events with a social networking aspect. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs for mobile applications. Implement and manage database systems (SQL & NoSQL). Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of backend services. Develop and integrate real-time chat functionality using Firebase, gRPC, and Socket.IO. Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure system stability. Create and maintain API documentation (Swagger). Required Skills: Languages & Frameworks: Node.js, Express.js, TypeScript API Development: Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs Databases: SQL (PostgreSQL), NoSQL (MongoDB) Caching & Storage: Redis, Cloudflare R2 Real-Time Communication: Firebase, gRPC, Socket.IO Version Control: Git Cloud Services: AWS (Beanstalk, Valkey, CodePipeline), Google Cloud, Azure CI/CD: Hands-on experience with continuous integration and deployment pipelines Monitoring & Analytics: Bugsnag, Crashlytics, Google Analytics, Crash Monitoring tools Security: Understanding of security best practices for backend development Testing: Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks
