Job Description
- Monitor system performance dashboards and analyze Grafana graphs to identify anomalies or performance issues.
- Investigate, track, and follow up on alerts generated by monitoring systems.
- Analyze application and system logs to detect root causes, recurring patterns, and potential incidents.
- Create and optimize alerting rules to ensure accurate and actionable notifications.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to escalate and resolve incidents in a timely manner.
- Maintain clear documentation of incidents, actions taken, and follow-ups.
Required Skill:
- Familiarity with Linux operating system
- Basic knowledge of Network+ concept
- Basic knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus Stack
- Problem-solving skills and ability to provide reports
- Interest in learning and developing skills
Bonus Skills:
- Familiarity with DevOps concepts
- Basic scripting knowledge
- PROMQL
- Previous experience in working rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays to ensure network uptime and reliability
