Software Engineer - BackEnd (CashIt)

CashIt is a specialized platform for exchanging and settling cryptocurrencies and international fiat currencies. With a primary focus on OTC trading and currency transfers, it enables users to quickly and securely convert crypto to fiat (and vice versa). The platform provides services such as buying and selling Tether and other cryptocurrencies, settling AED (Dirham), USD, and EUR outside Iran, liquidity management for high-volume clients, and customized solutions for traders and business professionals. Overall, CashIt strives to make the process of moving capital both inside and outside the country simpler, more transparent, and fully trustworthy.

We’re looking for a Backend Engineer to help design, build, and maintain the core services of a compact but production-grade system. You’ll work on backend logic, APIs, and data flows in close collaboration with frontend and infrastructure, taking responsibility for system correctness, performance, and reliability.

Our product is developed by a small team that prioritizes clear architecture, predictable behavior, and long-term maintainability. We value engineers who enjoy owning problems end-to-end and prefer well-reasoned solutions over over-engineering.


Responsibilities & Qualifications:

Develop and maintain dependable, high-quality backend software with a focus on correctness and stability.
Work collaboratively with colleagues across different disciplines to deliver cohesive solutions.
Actively contribute to shared ownership of systems while following agreed-upon engineering processes and standards.
Apply strong analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail when diagnosing and solving problems.
Strong command of Python for building and maintaining backend services.
Solid grasp of fundamental computer science principles.

Bonus Points For:

Familiarity with Django.
Experience in crypto and blockchain technologies or financial services.
Deep understanding of distributed systems design and performance.
