Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Assist in collecting and cleaning web data, focusing on understanding and refining crawling pipelines.
- Read, maintain, and improve existing scripts under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Experiment with small scripts and side projects to practice and explore new techniques.
- Monitor and troubleshoot crawling pipelines for efficiency and reliability.
- Work with Python, PostgreSQL, and RabbitMQ, gradually learning database and message queue operations.
- Document work, report issues, and propose improvements.
- Learn continuously, develop critical thinking, and gain hands-on experience in web data extraction.
Requirements:
- Strong foundation in Python and general programming concepts.
- Curiosity and enthusiasm for web scraping, crawling, and data extraction.
- Ability and interest to read, understand, and maintain others’ code.
- Basic knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL) and message queues (RabbitMQ); hands-on experience is a plus.
- Team player with attention to detail, documentation, and reporting skills.
