Data Analyst

We are seeking a Data Analyst to help us transform data into actionable strategies.

At xChief, we are scaling rapidly. Our social media presence is expanding across platforms. To support this growth, we need someone who can measure what works, understand why it works, and optimize how we can make it even better.

This role goes beyond dashboards and KPIs. It’s about uncovering hidden patterns, understanding audience behavior, and translating numbers into decisions that shape our content, campaigns, and team performance.

You will collaborate closely with social media leadership and cross-functional teams to:
- Analyze engagement, growth, and conversion metrics across platforms.
- Track team performance and accountability metrics.
- Generate insights that drive meaningful change — from creative strategy to hiring decisions.

We are looking for someone who is precise, curious, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collect, clean, and analyze data from various social media platforms and internal tools.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including engagement, follower growth, reach, ROAS, CTR, and lead conversion.
- Build and maintain interactive dashboards using tools like Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI for weekly and monthly reviews.
- Identify trends in audience behavior, content performance, and campaign effectiveness.
- Design and analyze A/B tests (e.g., content formats, posting times, messaging) to optimize results.
- Collaborate with content, design, and advertising teams to align data-driven insights with strategic goals.
- Track team performance metrics such as task completion, response time, and accountability.
- Support HR and leadership with data-driven recommendations for hiring, training, and organizational development.
- Propose actionable improvements rather than simply reporting numbers.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in digital marketing or social media.
- Proficiency in:
  - Social media analytics tools (Instagram Insights, Telegram Analytics, YouTube Studio).
  - Web analytics tools (Google Analytics).
  - Data visualization tools (Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI).
  - Spreadsheets (Google Sheets, Excel).
  - SQL (intermediate level).
- Basic knowledge of Python or R is a plus.
- Familiarity with A/B testing, funnel analysis, and attribution models.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and structured problem-solving abilities.
