We are a fast-growing, technology-driven startup operating in the intercity freight and logistics space, and we are looking for a Senior Human Resources Specialist to play a key role in building, scaling, and sustaining our team. This role is ideal for someone who can operate both strategically and hands-on, design and execute core HR processes, and act as a true business partner to leadership while shaping a strong, performance-oriented, and startup-ready culture.
Responsibilities:
- Design and manage end-to-end recruitment processes, from workforce planning to onboarding
- Collaborate closely with founders and team leads to identify hiring needs and role requirements
- Lead interviews, evaluate candidates, and manage offer and hiring decisions
- Develop and implement performance management frameworks (OKRs, KPIs, performance reviews)
- Design career paths, employee development plans, and retention strategies
- Establish and reinforce company culture aligned with startup values and rapid growth
- Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and internal communications
- Document and maintain HR policies, procedures, and internal guidelines
- Oversee employee records, contracts, attendance, and leave management
- Coordinate with finance on payroll, compensation, and benefits
- Use data and analytics to monitor HR metrics such as turnover, engagement, and hiring efficiency
- Leverage AI tools to improve recruitment, screening, performance tracking, and HR workflows
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of professional experience in Human Resources, preferably in startups or high-growth companies
- Strong knowledge of recruitment, performance management, compensation, and employee development
- Solid understanding of Iranian labor law and social security regulations
- Experience designing HR processes, policies, and documentation from scratch
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and Excel/Google Sheets for reporting and analysis
- Experience with HR software, ATS platforms, or HR management systems
- Familiarity with startup tools such as Slack, Notion, Jira, Trello, or ClickUp
- Ability to effectively use AI tools in HR-related tasks (resume screening, job descriptions, analytics, workflow automation)
- Relevant academic background in HR, Management, Psychology, or related fields is a plus
